Jenny L. Womack has practiced law in Texas since receiving her law license in November 1998. Prior to completing law school, Jenny spent three years in the brokerage business, an experience she has found invaluable when assisting clients with family law matters. In her practice, Jenny has helped hundreds of clients seeking to build their families through adoption, surrogacy, and all manner of assisted reproduction matters. Jenny has handled all types of family law cases, but her current practice is focused exclusively on family formation law. In addition to her law degree, Jenny has received training in mediation, family law mediation, and collaborative law.
In 2004, Jenny was invited to join the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys, a prestigious organization of adoption attorneys across the United States and into Canada, and she served on the Board of Trustees and as Secretary for the organization for several years. Jenny was also selected as an Angel in Adoption by the Congressional Coalition for Adoption Institute in 2009 and invited to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology Attorneys in 2011. Since 1998, Jenny has been a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the DBA Family Law Section as well as the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. As a young lawyer, Jenny was a member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, serving on the Board of DAYL as well as the Board of the DAYL Foundation, of which she is a Life Founding Fellow. Jenny also currently serves on the Board of the Dallas Women Lawyers Association and is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. In 2013, Jenny helped launch the Texas Chapter of the Gift of Adoption Fund, a non-profit organization that provides grants to families trying to adopt.
Raised in Texas from the age of 6 months, Jenny primarily grew up in North Dallas, where she continues to live and practice law. Jenny received her Bachelors of Arts degree (with high honors) in Economics from the University of Texas in Austin in 1991 and her Juris Doctor decree (with honors) from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin in 1998.Areas of Practice Testimonials
